Daily Journal Volume 6 : 1641-1642

This volume contains the transcription of the 1641-1642 Daily Journals of Batavia Castle. The volume was published in 1900 by the 'Departement van Koloniën’ (Colonial Department) under the supervision of H.T. Colenbrander.

The original handwritten Daily Journals transcribed and published in this volume are no longer available at the Arsip Nasional Republik Indionesia (National Archives of Indonesia) or at the National Archives of the Netherlands and we have had to rely here entirely on Colenbrander’s published text.
