Daily Journal Volume 4 : 1637
This volume contains the transcription of the 1637Daily Journal of Batavia Castle. The volume was published in 1898 by the Colonial Department ( 'Departement van Koloniën') under the supervision of H.T. Colenbrander.
The original handwritten Daily Journal transcribed and published in this volume is no longer present at the Arsip Nasional Republik Indonesia National Archives of Indonesia or at the National Archives of the Netherlands and we have had to rely here entirely on Colenbrander’s published text.
