Daily Journal Volume 3 : 1636
This volume contains the transcription of the 1636 Daily Journal of Batavia Castle. The volume was published in 1899 by the Colonial Department ( 'Departement van Koloniën') under the supervision of Dr H.T. Colenbrander.
The original handwritten Daily Journal transcribed and published in this volume is no longer present at the Arsip Nasional Republik Indonesia ( National Archives of Indonesia). Only a handwritten copy is present in the National Archives of the Netherlands, The Hague, Archives of the Dutch East India Company (VOC), inventory identification 1.04.02, inventory number 1119.
